Every year, Inspired Occasions has been honored to be a part of the Jazz Museum's anniversary gala.  For their 10th anniversary, Lon and his crew worked with the planning committee to create a "small plate" dinner.  Guests enjoyed several mini-courses before heading to see Patti LaBelle perform in the Gem Theater.  Following the performance, guests were welcomed back to the museum for champagne, coffee, and sweets.

While each years' event is unique and unforgettable, this was definitely a trend-setting event to be remembered for years.


Full Service Premium Bar

Crudités, Cheese, and Bread:

Crudités of green beans, asparagus, carrots, peppers, celery, and cucumbers in plexi cones with a tomato chili cream dipping sauce,
Mini Goat cheese and black bean parfaits,
Ripe olive foccacia bread sticks.

A Taste of the Orient:

Sesame cashew angel hair pasta salad topped with Chinese five spice chicken salad.
Served with small black tasting forks from pale blue, lime, orange and purple Chinese take out boxes

A Trio of Mini Sandwiches

Grilled tenderloin of beef on a mini Asiago cheese roll with horseradish creme,
Crab cake on a mini French-style roll with a lime cilantro remoulade, and
Caramelized salmon on a mini onion roll with mango chutney mayonnaise.

Polenta Small Plates

Creamy Roasted Garlic Polenta
Served with Cajun barbecued shrimp and wild mushroom ragout from small square black plates.

Champagne, Dessert and Coffee  9:30 PM:

Served with cream and sugar.

Chocolate dipped strawberries with pipettes of Godiva white and dark chocolate liquors
Chocolate soufflé cookies,
Lemon white chocolate and almond squares,
Raspberry chocolate squares,

Fresh fruit and cheeses including: Brie, cheddar, baby Swiss, Saga Blue and peppered Montrachet cheese. Served with fresh strawberries, red and green grapes, and an assortment of crackers.
